Receiving Rewards

Live

How rewards arrive in your wallet — from programs, from other members, and from the platform.

Rewards flow into your wallet from three sources: programs (events, operators, quests), other members (P2P sends, gifts), and the platform (periodic distributions based on your HeartBeat tier). Here's how each works and what to expect when rewards arrive.

From programs

When you check in at an event, complete a quest, or do something a program rewards, the program dispatches MNEE to your badge. The flow:

  1. You do the thing. Scan in at the venue, complete the quest objective, attend the closing ceremony.
  2. The program records it. The operator's system logs your activity and calculates the reward amount based on the program's configuration.
  3. Rewards are dispatched. The MNEE pipeline sends the reward to your badge identifier. On the fast tier, your balance updates immediately.
  4. You see it in your wallet. A new transaction appears in your history with the source (program name, activity type) and amount.

Rewards from programs are usually available immediately. Some programs configure restrictions (e.g., a 7-day hold for high-value quest rewards), which will show in your restricted balance with an unlock date.

From other members

When another member sends you MNEE:

  1. They enter your badge identifier or scan your card.
  2. The send is submitted and shows up in your wallet on the fast tier — usually within seconds.
  3. The transaction appears in your history with the sender's badge identifier (partially masked for privacy) and the amount.

Member-to-member rewards are transferable by default — you can send them to someone else immediately.

From the platform

HeartBadge periodically distributes rewards to active members based on their HeartBeat (HRTB) tier. If you have a higher tier, you receive a larger share of the distribution.

When a platform distribution occurs:

  1. Your badge's HeartBeat level determines your share.
  2. The calculated amount is dispatched to your badge.
  3. It appears in your wallet as a reward from "HeartBadge."

Platform rewards are available immediately and transferable.

Balance update timing

The two-tier ledger means rewards show up in your wallet fast — typically within seconds for most sources. However, the wallet may take a moment to refresh after you open it. Pull down to refresh if you're expecting a reward that hasn't appeared yet.

If a reward still doesn't appear after 5 minutes:

  • Check your transaction history for a pending entry.
  • Confirm with the sender or program that the send was completed (they should have a transaction ID).
  • Contact support@heartbadge.com with your badge identifier and the expected transaction details.

Notifications

You can enable push notifications for incoming rewards in your account settings. When a reward arrives, you'll get a notification with the amount and source. This is especially useful during events when rewards are flowing fast.
