Common questions about HeartBadge gifts — lost links, revocation, referral bonuses, and troubleshooting.

How long do gifts last?

Gifts expire 1 year from purchase. After that, the link is invalid and cannot be claimed. Expiration dates are shown in your gift history.

Can I see the claim link again after purchase?

Yes. In your account under "Gifts," you can view all gifts you've purchased. The claim link is shown for unclaimed gifts. You can copy and re-share it.

What if I lose the link?

Log into your account and look it up in your gift history. If you somehow can't access your account, contact support@heartbadge.com with your order confirmation email.

Can I revoke a gift?

Yes, if it hasn't been claimed yet. In your gift history, unclaimed gifts have a "Revoke" option. Revoking invalidates the link and processes a refund to your original payment method (minus any non-refundable processing fees). Refunds typically take 5–10 business days.

Can someone else use my link?

If you used "Get a link" or "Shared pool" delivery, yes — anyone with the link can claim the badge. That's by design. If you want only a specific person to receive it, use "Send to one person" and enter their email directly.

What about the $50 referral bonus?

The referral bonus applies only to Full HeartBadge gifts ($235 tier). When your recipient claims and activates, you receive $50 in MNEE credited to your rewards wallet. The bonus is not paid if:

  • The gift is never claimed
  • You revoke the gift before it's claimed
  • The gift was a HeartBadge Lite ($5 tier)

Can I change the tier after purchase?

No. The tier is set at purchase. If you need a different tier, revoke the unclaimed gift and purchase a new one.

What if the recipient already has a badge?

They can still claim the gift. It mints an additional badge. They'll have multiple badges and can switch between them — see Multi-Membership (coming soon).

Can I edit the personal message after purchase?

No. The message is set at purchase. If you need to change it, revoke the unclaimed gift and purchase a new one with the corrected message.

How do shared pools work?

When you choose "Shared pool" delivery, you specify a quantity (e.g., 10 badges). You pay for all of them upfront. Each person who visits the pool link can claim one badge. Once all badges are claimed, the pool is exhausted and the link stops working.

You can see how many badges remain in your gift history. If you want to add more to the pool, purchase a new gift with the same pool link or contact support.

The recipient says the link doesn't work

  • Check if it's already claimed (in your gift history)
  • Check if it's expired (1 year from purchase)
  • Check if you revoked it
  • If it's a pool, check if the pool is exhausted
  • Make sure they're clicking the full link (sometimes email clients truncate)

If none of these apply, contact support@heartbadge.com.

What payment methods are accepted?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Payment is processed by Stripe on behalf of HeartChain Labs.
