Send a HeartBadge to someone — choose your tier, pick a delivery mode, and complete payment.

Gifting is one of the core ways HeartBadge spreads. You can send a badge to a friend, share a link for anyone to claim, or create a pool for a group. This page walks through the purchase flow.

Choose a tier

There are two tiers available for gifting:

The Full tier is the primary membership and includes the $50 referral bonus — you earn that bonus when your recipient activates. Lite is designed for low-commitment onboarding or sampling the system before upgrading.

Choose a delivery mode

There are three ways to deliver a gift:

Send to one person

Enter the recipient's email address. They receive an email with a link to claim the badge. This is the most direct method — good for a specific person you're inviting.

Get a link

You receive a unique claim link that you can share however you want — text, DM, print it on a card. The recipient email field is optional here (it's just for your records). Anyone with the link can claim the badge, so share it intentionally.

Shared pool

Create a pool that multiple people can draw from. You set a quantity, and each person who visits the pool link can claim one badge until the pool is empty. Good for teams, event giveaways, or cohort onboarding.

Personalize the gift

You can add:

Display name. Your name as it appears to the recipient. Defaults to your account name.
Personal message. A short note (up to 280 characters) that the recipient sees when they claim. Something like "Welcome to HeartBadge." or "See you at the festival."

Complete payment

Payment is processed via card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover). Enter your card details, billing address, and click Pay now. Payment is processed by HeartChain Labs as the merchant of record.

Once payment clears, the gift is live. If you chose "Send to one person," the email goes out immediately. If you chose "Get a link" or "Shared pool," you'll see the link on the confirmation screen and in your gift history.

The referral bonus

When you gift a Full HeartBadge and your recipient activates their badge, you earn a $50 referral bonus in MNEE, credited to your rewards wallet. The bonus is paid when:

The recipient claims the gift (enters their email, authenticates)
The badge is minted and activated

If the gift is never claimed, or if you revoke it before redemption, no bonus is paid.

Tracking your gifts

In your account under "Gifts," you can see:

All gifts you've purchased (tier, delivery mode, date, status)
Claim link for link/pool gifts
Who claimed each gift (badge identifier, once redeemed)
Referral bonus status (pending, paid, or n/a for Lite)
